The reason your posture resets never stick

Hey,
If you’ve ever caught yourself slouching, pulled your shoulders back, sat up straighter, and then found yourself right back where you started twenty minutes later- this is why:
Your body has been doing this for years. It’s not going to change from one correction.
Rounded shoulders come from tight muscles in the front of your body and weak muscles in the back. The front pulls you forward, the back doesn’t have the strength to hold you there yet. So you correct, and drift right back.
The fix is doing both- lengthening the front, strengthening the back. And then practicing it consistently. Start here:
But the real change happens outside the exercises. When you start catching yourself throughout the day, at your desk, walking, on your phone, and making the correction in those moments. That’s where it actually sticks. The more you do it, the more automatic it becomes.
If you want support building exactly that kind of daily practice, the MUVwell on demand library is built for this- short videos you can actually fit into your day, all focused on posture, movement, and feeling good long term.
